Director, Learning & Development

Vincent Giambalvo is a senior Training & Development/Organizational Development professional.  He spent the last 38 years working in both the academic and business communities.  He has held T&D/OD positions for ADP, ADT, A&P, Duro-Test Lighting, GAF and Affinity Health Plan as well as spending five years as an Independent Management Training Consultant. Vince’s expertise includes Soft Skills Training, Management and Leadership Development, and Sales training.

 

Among the many honors Vince has received is an NDEA Title IV Fellowship, as well as the Charles T. Morgan Award for Lifetime Excellence and Individual Achievement Award from ASTD (American Society for Training & Development).  Vince is listed in Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in America and won a Telly Award for production of a corporate recruiting/image video. Vince has presented in NNJ-ASTD conference on Sales Management Training at Duro-Test Lighting and ASTD conference on the Role of Leadership Development Coordinator.

 

Vince holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hunter College (CUNY) and a Masters and Doctorate from Northeastern University.  He is a certified instructor for DDI (Development Dimensions International), KT-PSDM (Kepner-Tregoe – Problem Solving & Decision Making) and Social Styles.

 

Vince has been a longtime active contributor to ASTD in several leadership positions. He was a co-founder and the Chapter President of the Ann Arbor Chapter. He was also the Northern New Jersey Chapter President in 1992.  Vince is a Board Member of the North Jersey/Rockland Chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).  He serves as the liaison between NJRC-SHRM and NNJ-ASTD. Vince also participated in the NNJ-ASTD Mentoring program for new Board Members.
